Changes at Classical Candor

As we reach the end of an eventful 2022 and look forward to 2023, we want to recognize and congratulate our colleague and friend John Puccio, who is going into a long-anticipated and well-deserved “retirement.” Fear not, he is not stepping away entirely; instead, he plans to submit occasional reviews and surely will provide his wise counsel to the rest of us. Thank you, John, for bringing Classical Candor into being and nurturing it for all these years.

Also entering retirement is the Classical Music News of the Week feature. In this time when social media and search engines provide instant online access to news and schedules everywhere all the time, the News of the Week has largely outlived its usefulness. A huge “thank you” to John for putting it together over the years.
